About
The Bethel Faith Community Church is a vibrant and welcoming community of believers, dedicated to uplifting and honoring God in all that we do. We believe that through worship, prayer, Bible study, and loving fellowship, we can grow in our faith and better understand God’s plan for our lives.
As a church, we are committed to equipping our members for spiritual growth and service. We offer a variety of educational opportunities, including Bible studies and small group sessions, to help people deepen their understanding of the faith and discover their unique gifts and talents.
We are also passionate about serving others and making a difference in the world. We believe that it is our calling to minister to individuals and families through local and global missions, sharing the love of Christ with all those we encounter.
Finally, we are dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who do not yet know Him. We believe that through His death and resurrection, Jesus offers us the gift of eternal and abundant life, and we are committed to proclaiming this message of hope and salvation to all who will listen.
We hope that you will join us in this journey of faith, and we look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your own spiritual journey.
Our Church motto “enter to worship, depart to serve” into action. This means that after worshipping God together during the service, the church members are encouraged to take what they have learned and experienced and use it to serve others in the community. This could involve volunteering at a local organization, helping a neighbor in need, or simply being kind and compassionate to those they encounter in their daily lives. By living out this motto, the church members are able to put their faith into action and make a positive impact in the world.
“Enter to worship, depart to serve” is a phrase that encourages people to prioritize their relationship with God and to use their talents and resources to serve others in the community.
The first part of the phrase, “enter to worship,” suggests that when we come to church, our primary focus should be on worshipping God and growing in our faith. Worship can take many forms, such as singing, praying, listening to a sermon, or participating in other activities that help us connect with God.
The second part of the phrase, “depart to serve,” encourages us to take what we have learned and experienced during worship and put it into action by serving others. This could mean volunteering at a local organization, helping a neighbor in need, or simply being kind and compassionate to those we encounter in our daily lives.
Overall, “enter to worship, depart to serve” reminds us that our faith is not just something we practice within the walls of a church, but should also be evident in the way we live our lives and serve others.
What We Believe
- We believe in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God composed of the Old and the New Testaments, verbally inspired and the all sufficient rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
- We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and Man. He died on the cross for our sins, as the vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where at the right hand of the Father He is now our High Priest and Advocate. (Isaiah 7:14, Romans 5:8, Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 4:14)
- We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (Genesis 1:27, Ephesians 2:1, Titus 3:5)
- We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly life. (John 16:13-14)
- We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from works and is possessed by all who have faith and have received the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- We believe that the Church is composed of all born again believers; its mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching and teaching the Gospel among all nations: it will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air when He appears to set up His kingdom. (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)
- We believe that the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism are the ordinances to be observed by the Church during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man’s salvation. (Matthew 26:26-29, Romans 6:4)
- We believe in the personal pre-millennial and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that this “Blessed Hope” has a dynamic bearing on the personal life and service of every believer. (Titus 2:13)
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. (John 5:28-29, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
- We believe that every local church has the right under Jesus Christ, its Head and Lord, to decide and govern its own affairs. (Colossians 1:18)
