I'm New
Here is a questions to ponder:
What is the purpose or meaning of life, and how can we make the most of the time we have been given?
What is the one thing that keeps you going, even when everything else seems hopeless or uncertain?
How can you tap into that strength or source of inspiration to keep moving forward, even when the path ahead seems difficult or uncertain?”
Where do you want to spend eternity? In heaven, with God and all those who have accepted His love and grace, or in hell, separated from God and all that is good and holy? The choice is ultimately yours to make, but the consequences of that choice will last for all eternity.
What will you choose?
“Life is short, and sin is the cause. It is the root of all suffering, pain, and death, and it separates us from God, the source of all life and joy.
But God, in His love and grace, has provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him and to overcome sin and its destructive power. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness, healing, and new life. Don’t waste any more time living in the grip of sin, but turn to Jesus and experience the fullness of life that He offers. It is the most important decision you will ever make, and it will determine your eternal destiny.”
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
The preparation for eternity is now, and salvation is now, not tomorrow. Don’t delay or procrastinate. Today is the day of salvation, and now is the time to turn to Jesus and receive the forgiveness and new life that He offers. Don’t put off making this most important decision, because you never know what tomorrow may bring. Don’t let the distractions and pressures of this world keep you from seeking God and His kingdom. Don’t let fear or doubts hold you back. Take the step of faith and trust in Jesus, and experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing Him.”
God loves you and He gave His one and only Son for you. Jesus died in your behalf, taking upon Himself the punishment for your sins and reconciling you to God. But you can only receive this gift by believing in Jesus and putting your faith in Him. It’s not about being good enough or deserving it, but simply trusting in the love and grace of God. Don’t miss out on this incredible offer of salvation. Don’t let pride or self-reliance keep you from turning to Jesus. He is the only way to eternal life, and He is waiting for you with open arms. ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’ (John 3:16)”
As the verse says, ‘What profit is there for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?’ (Mark 8:36) It’s a question we all need to ask ourselves: What good is it to have all the wealth, fame, and success this world has to offer if we lose our soul in the process? It’s like chasing after the wind, or trying to hold onto sand. It’s fleeting and meaningless. But if we choose to follow Jesus and seek first His kingdom and righteousness, we will find true and lasting joy, purpose, and fulfillment.
When you die, not one penny goes with you. ‘For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.’ (1 Timothy 6:7) You can’t take your material possessions or earthly accomplishments with you. It’s all temporary and passing away. But your soul is eternal, and it will live on forever. That’s why it’s so important to make sure your soul is right with God, because where your soul spends eternity is the most important decision you will ever make.
‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.’ (Job 1:21) We come into this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. It’s a humbling reminder of our mortality and our need for God. We are dependent on Him for everything, and we need to trust in Him and His provisions for us. Don’t trust in your own strength or resources, but trust in God, who is sovereign over all things and can supply all your needs.”
You are created in God’s image and wonderfully made by His hand. ‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’ (Psalm 139:14) You are not an accident or a mistake, but a special and unique creation of God, with your own gifts, talents, and purpose. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy that tell you that you are not good enough or worthy. Don’t let the world’s standards or expectations define you. But rather, believe in the truth of who you are in Christ and the value and worth that He has placed on you. You are precious and valuable in His sight, and He has a plan and purpose for your life. Seek to discover and fulfill that purpose, and let your life be a reflection of the image of God within you.”
Ask God and say this prayer: ‘Lord God, I acknowledge You as the Creator and sustainer of all things. I confess that I have sinned against You and have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness and for the cleansing of my sins through the blood of Jesus. I believe that Jesus is Your Son, who died for my sins and rose again, and that He is the only way to salvation. I receive the gift of eternal life that You have promised to those who believe. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord, and I ask You to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I trust in Your mercy, love, and grace, and I thank You for Your unmerited favor. Amen.’
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing His riches on all who call on Him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”‘ (Romans 10:9-13)
Don’t delay in making this most important decision of your life. Don’t let anything or anyone keep you from accepting the gift of salvation that God has offered through His Son, Jesus Christ. He loves you unconditionally and by His grace, He gives you the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to be reconciled to God and to experience the fullness of life that He has for you. Trust in Him and His promise, and let your life be transformed by His love.”
Now that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, be reassured that your name is written in the book of life. You have passed from death to life, and God has promised according to His Word that He will never blot out your name or forget you. ‘I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.’ (Isaiah 44:22) ‘He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.’ (Revelation 3:5)
God cannot lie and it is against His holy nature to do so. Therefore, you can trust in His promise and rest in His love and grace. ‘In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.’ (Titus 1:2)
Now that you are a new creation in Christ, walk in the newness of life that He has given you. ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!’ (2 Corinthians 5:17) ‘Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.’ (Romans 12:2)
As the Bible says, all things have passed and the old has become new. ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.’ (Isaiah 43:18-19) You are no longer bound by your past, but you have a new identity and purpose in Christ. Embrace your new life in Him and let His love and truth transform you from the inside out.”
Connect with other believers and join a Bible-believing church wherever you are. God wants you to grow in His knowledge and His ways, and being part of a church community is an important aspect of your spiritual growth and development. As a new believer, you are like a newborn baby, who needs the nourishment and support of other believers to grow and mature in your faith. ‘Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.’ (1 Peter 2:2)
Don’t try to do it on your own, but seek out other believers who can encourage, support, and challenge you in your walk with God. ‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.’ (Hebrews 10:24-25)
God’s desire is for you to grow and be transformed by His love and truth. He has a plan and purpose for your life, and He wants to use you to make a difference in the world. Don’t be afraid to step out in faith and join a church that preaches and teaches the Word of God. It will be an investment in your spiritual growth and impact for eternity.”
“God bless you and your future endeavors. He has promised that He will never leave you or forsake you, even to the end of this age. ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ (Hebrews 13:5) ‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.’ (Deuteronomy 31:6)
You can trust in God’s love, faithfulness, and sovereignty over your life. He has a plan and purpose for you, and He will equip and empower you to fulfill it. ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ (Jeremiah 29:11)
Don’t be discouraged by challenges or setbacks, but rather, take them as opportunities to trust in God and grow in your faith. He will use them to shape and refine you, and to bring you closer to Him. ‘Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.’ (James 1:2-3)
Remember that God is with you, and He is for you. He loves you and has a good future for you. Lean on Him and His Word, and let His
love, grace, and truth guide and direct your steps. Let His peace and joy fill your heart, and let His light shine through you, so that others may see His love and be drawn to Him. ‘Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’ (Matthew 5:16)
I pray that God will bless you and keep you, and that He will make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
And may the Lord be with you always. ‘May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.’ (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
I encourage you to keep seeking God and His kingdom, and to let His Word and His Spirit guide and direct your life. Don’t be conformed to the patterns and values of this world, but rather, be transformed by the renewing of your mind and the power of the Holy Spirit. ‘Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.’ (Romans 12:2)
Remember that God is sovereign and in control, and that He is working all things together for your good and for His glory. ‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.’ (Romans 8:28)
Trust in God’s love and faithfulness, and let His peace and joy fill your heart and mind. He is with you always, and He will never leave you or forsake you. ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’ (John 14:27)
May God bless you and keep you, and may His love, grace, and truth be evident in your life. May the Lord be with you always.
